What you can ask in the chat
Questions about your book, several changes at once, and undo.
The chat box on the left reads your book before it answers, so you can talk to it about what is actually on the page.
Ask about your book
- "what does chapter 4 say about discounts?"
- "is this chapter too long?" — with a chapter open
It reads the chapters it needs first, then answers from their text.
Several changes at once
Up to three per message: "rename chapter 3 to The Price Sheet and make chapter 1 shorter".
One instruction can cover many chapters: "make every chapter shorter" rewrites up to eight, one after another, and you watch each one happen.
Undo
"undo that" puts back exactly what was there before — the previous words, or in an illustrated book the previous drawing. It is free.
Adding, moving and removing chapters
In a text book you can say "add a chapter about refunds after chapter 4", "move chapter 6 to the start" or "remove chapter 5":
- While the plan is on screen — free; the plan's price updates to match.
- Once the book is finished — moving and renaming are free. A new chapter is written straight away and costs 1 to 3 credits. Removing a written chapter asks first, because its text goes with it.
Language workbooks keep their course order, and illustrated books keep the page count the printer needs, so those can't be reshuffled.
Anything that costs credits asks first
Redraws, new covers, extra chapters and rewrites past the included 25 are quoted in the chat with Yes and No buttons. Nothing is charged until you say yes.
