Reading and rewriting a chapter
Click any chapter to read it whole and change it.
Click any chapter in the right-hand pane. It opens with the full text.
At the bottom you get three quick buttons:
- Tighten this — cuts about a fifth without losing anything
- Warmer and more personal
- More concrete — real numbers, real examples
Or type exactly what you want changed, like "add a paragraph about what to do when the client says no".
Your first 25 rewrites of a book are included, whether you ask in the chat or in the chapter itself. After that each rewrite costs 3 credits, and Bookbind shows the price and waits for your yes before charging. A rewrite takes under a minute.
Getting an earlier version back
Every version is kept. The quickest way back is to type "undo that" in the chat — the previous version returns word for word, free, and it does not count as a rewrite.
Or open the chapter and look for "N versions — bring an earlier one back" at the bottom. Click restore on any of them. Nothing is ever lost.
Language workbooks
A workbook unit is a set of exercises with a checked answer key, so it is rebuilt rather than rewritten. Open the unit and press Rebuild unit — add a note like "easier exercises" if you want. The new unit follows the same place in the course, and its answers are checked again. A rebuild counts as one rewrite.
