Publishing on Amazon
Follow the checklist in your download.
Your download includes two checklists — one for the paperback, one for the Kindle ebook. Each is a numbered list with your own title, keywords and categories already filled in.
The short version:
1. Make a free account at kdp.amazon.com
2. Click Create, choose ebook or paperback
3. Copy your title, description and keywords from metadata-sheet.txt
4. Upload the file (EPUB for ebook, PDF for paperback)
5. Upload the cover
6. Set your price
7. Publish
Amazon reviews new books before they go on sale. This usually takes up to 72 hours.
The AI question
Amazon asks whether your book used AI. Answer yes. Your checklist tells you exactly what to say. It is a private question — it does not appear on your book's page, and Amazon has said it does not affect your royalties or where you rank.
Not answering honestly can get your account suspended. Answering honestly costs you nothing.
